"Different than several other restaurants recommended in Binondo, this restaurant, due to its high ceiling and spacious seating arrangement, it doesn't feel at cramp as the other environments. Our foodie mission was trying their beef with tendon claypot rice, xiao long bao. Being a beef lover. The claypot really was a surprise. I have rice claypot almost every day in vancouver with my family. They really make it better here. Rice was steamed to my fav bounciness texture. Plus, I love the oily coat over the rice. If my 70+ yr old mom is w me, I guarantee she won't favor the greesy rice. The xiao long bao is very enjoyable and flavorful. Presentation is passable. A couple of the dumplings already exploded before reaching our table. The atmosphere felt like a giant prince Buddha dining room with several spiritual trophies and awards on one corner and a souvenir section on the other end. It's worth a visit"

"Get the Siomai, Harkaw and their noodle soup.. The Cafe is on the second floor of Eng bin tin.. so you have to go inside the Eng bin tin store then take the escalator to the second floor.. Siomai was the star of the show.. Harkaw had whole shrimps inside Noodle soup was superb"

"We would often go here whenever we visit Binondo and after buying from Eng Bee Tin. Good serving size for it’s price. We liked the salt and pepper squid a lot. Serving times and wait times may vary depending on the time of the day."

"Really good food with big servings. I really liked their sweet chili fish tofu, sweet & sour pork, beef wonton noodle, and xiao long bao."

"The Great Buddha Cafe is situated on the 2nd floor above the main Eng Bee Tin branch. The cafe space, although wide and spacious, looks uninspired save for the moon cake shaped lights above and the prominent buddha statue in the floor center. On peak hours, expect to wait for a considerable amount of time (around 30 minutes minimum) before you can be seated. Given the amount of people during our visit, I anticipated that food quality and service would be compromised but I was proven wrong on the former. The food did not disappoint! The xiao long bao and lumpiang shanghai tasted good, fresh, and most importantly, not oily. The stir fry asado noodles was the star though. It is an absolute must try as it received nods of approval from my entire friend group. The only letdown during our visit was the service since we ended up serving ourselves water despite continuous requests from various waiters and waiting for 25+ minutes. It is understandable though given the amount of people they had to attend to. Overall, a nice restaurant to fill your hunger after shopping for goodies on the lower floor. (Note: Although they prohibit you from eating outside food, they allow Eng Bee Tin products)"

"The restaurant is in the first floor of Eng Bee Tin Chinese Deli. You need to climb the stairs on the left after the entrance. We came on a Friday afternoon time and there was no waiting. The order was served after some time around 30-40 minutes which we used to buy some take aways downstairs. The dumplings was served first then the rest of the main entrees but unfortunately the shrimp and wanton soup came very late and last, which is really odd and disappointing as we expect the soup to be served first. It took us 3 times to follow up our soup which came around after 1 hour… seriously for a soup of shrimp and wanton? All the food are tasty and the pork and beef meat are tender and juicy. The noodles are cooked bouncy and chewy with generous amount of meat. Definitely will come back again and is highly recommended place to eat Chinese dishes in Binondo as the price are very reasonable with its servings. My only issue in this place are the stairs going to the restaurant and the washroom. Not good for older customers or PWD friendly."

"I think they have the best hot & sour soup in Metro Manila! Fried rice had a good wok hey. Nice and clean resto, I love how tables have ample space between them. Nice and clean toilets! Good service... I've had better dumplings in other Chinese restos in the area... I'm sure there are other better things to order in their menu."

"My go-to restaurant whenever I’m in Binondo, Manila. The line is usually long, but it moves quickly so the wait isn’t too bad. The food is consistently great, and the prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality. Definitely worth the visit!"
